Welcome to the UK Snooker Awards Coaching Programme, a two day course run by SHA Snooker.
Do you have the drive and ambition to succeed in business as well as the passion to play snooker?
If your answer is yes, then you are in perfect position to play your next shot.
We will develop your snooker and coaching skills over a two day course in the snooker capital, Sheffield.
You will have the opportunity to be part of the UK Snooker coaching team which includes full support after the course. We will provide you with regular updates, funding advice and relevant policies and procedures necessary for you to gain funding for your snooker groups.

The course will provide delegates with the opportunity to:
Develop their snooker, coaching and instructional skills with different groups of people
Be a UK Snooker Coach
Teach the UK Snooker Awards, a nationally accredited course worth gcse credits
Grow grassroots snooker in your area with advice on how to set up coaching programmes with individuals, clubs, schools and government bodies
Learn how to work with partner agencies such as the police
Liase and contact with the media
Understand their role and resposibilities regarding safeguarding and child protection
Network with other coaches at events and meetings
Understand the rules of snooker
Generate part time/ full time income from snooker
Receive advice on marketing themselves with full support available on design, print, web, promotion etc.

The UK Snooker Awards is a modular, six step, train into work programme, accredited by ASDAN each award holds a value of one GCSE credit. Students progress to become tutors themselves.
